3. everything must go
i hate will farrel but every movie he makes i watch
this time he nails it like i never saw before
there is very little comedy in this film and it was great
i am starting to lean toward farrel is the new tom hanks
not all that funny but a very skilled dramatic actor waiting to blossom

7. "Tucker and Dale vs. Evil" at Alamo Drafthouse in Austin.
Dark humor. Think Chainsaw Massacre meets Abbot and Costello.

8. Funny flick
"It's some kind of suicide pact."

They took all the elements of the stereotypical slasher flick and turned them upside down. Loved it.

9. I rented the movie "Farinelli" again. It's one of my favorite foreign films
It's about the life of Farinelli, who has been considered one of the best opera singers of all time. The guy had an amazing voice but only because his older brother had him castrated so he would keep his childhood soprano voice.

The Wiki pages says the movie was a bit of a stretch and of course there is always some kinky sex to make it juicy, but you have to love the music!

11. I rented Limitless and Cedar Rapids.
Edited on Mon Oct-17-11 02:32 PM by Initech
Cedar Rapids was absolutely hilarious (and John C Reilly is one of the funniest and most underrated comedic actors around). Limitless was pretty good - way better than I expected.

13. Watched "Insidious" last night
Scary as hell. I watch a lot of horror flicks and this is the best I've seen in a loooong time. Almost slept with the light on. :D
