I bought a small Cure 81 ham today, just needed a little ham in my life.

It came presliced, yum.

Tomorrow some lima beans with ham, also some fried okra.

This is the south.

Ice tea and cornbread.

That will do it.

Pretty soon the weather will be cooler and mac and cheese with some little cubes of ham will be good.

2. The ham cost about $10, but it was big chuck of ham.

It is slice nice and thin, just right.

Every once in awhile I will buy a Cure 81 ham, need a treat sometimes.

I will freeze some it, slice thin it is too much to eat at once.

3. grilled cheese sandwich

fry some onions and then throw some ham in to heat it up
and then place between the cheese
and then grill the sandwich

I will go ham crazy for next few days, then I will get tired of it.

That is why I like to buy a small piece of cure 81 only.

7. I use a big crock pot for the beans, and they cook all day.

The ham helps.

My father's side of the family is from the deep south.

Texas is both south and southwest, best of both.

I need my okra fix, nice and crispy from the Fry Daddy.

My cornbread is Ok but needs working on.

I am better of with a mix.

I use Rose Tea for my ice tea, on one store near me carries it.

I buy several boxes.

Ready for tomorrow.

Sometimes I make omelets with caramelized onion, ham, and cheese. Thinking of that, suddenly I crave a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice.
