1. Yes,
It's an action shot, you couldn't hold that pose for more than a split second. It's a single frame shot probably on 400-speed film.

Also while the angle of the hips is awkward and makes it difficult to see, he's not as splay-legged as that picture appears...the foot on the ground is planted and is being pivoted off of while his hips rotate through the soon-to-be struck ball. The awkward high angle of the back leg is because he was caught out of position and was forced to change direction at the last second while still trying to make the power-return. In all, his leg-angle is a bit over 115-degrees...highly-flexible but well within human male range; it's nowhere near a split, if you spread your legs about as far as possible, presuming you're of average athleticism, you'd be at somewhere in the same vicinity of leg-angle.

It's Novak Djokovic, of course it's possible...he's one of the greatest male tennis players ever. It's probably a bit superhuman in the combination that he's able to get caught out-of-position, make the pivot like that and still make that power-return of the volley with a 100+MPH shot...but so is most of what he does on the tennis court.

7. Not even by accident in the first place
I would end up breaking unmentionables and need a hospital visit.

5. No, despite the appearance, you cannot fart out a tennis ball.

6. Are you sure the tennis ball is going that direction?
The ball could be attempting a 'docking' maneuver.
