We have a...step-dog? (photo)

His 'real' parents are off to the Mother Country (England) for 10 days and we're keeping Teddy.
He's a Yorkie.
I call him The Beave.
(Theodore Cleaver?...Leave It to Beaver?...The Beave!)
;-)

The Beave is very affectionate to people and other dogs (EXCEPT other dogs on leashes. That's quite a different story.:eyes:), but HATES anything with wheels.
Barks and growls and becomes QUITE fierce at trucks, cars, bicycles, lawn mowers, golf carts, scooters...ANYTHING with wheels is definitely a THREAT.
Miz t. and I feel very well protected from anything-with-wheels for the next 10 days.

GO BEAVE! YOU GET 'EM!

1. I love the terriers. They seem to be quite tuned in. The look on his face is great.
He looks playful and inquisitive and intelligent.

He might teach you a few things in the next week and a half.

Cool dog!

4. The Beave is a star boarder here.
We've kept him many times.
His tiny bed goes on our bed and that's where he sleeps.

5. And FEROCIOUS!
He has no concept of his size.
In his head he's a Doberman.

7. What a cute little guy. I love Yorkies.
I am not a small dog lover, but I have a Chihuahua and a Mini-pin. I did have a Rottweilier, which I loved dearly. I had to put her down last July because she had liver and bone cancer. She was almost 13 years old. My son breeds Chihuahuas and French bulldogs, and give me a Frenchie after my Rottie died, but I had to give her back because I could not housebreak her no matter how I tried..

Good luck with your foster doggie.

Don't fall in love though.

We dogsat for a mini Dachshund and my guy had to leave the house when the doggie's parents came to claim him. He fell in love....even took a day of vacation to "hang" with Leopold.

Have fun!

Think he's getting a dog for me for Christmas. :-)
