Question for folks in Phoenix, Why is everything the same fucking color?

Just got back and I think next time I go I'm going to bring a box of crayons :P



The only paint colors are slightly various shades of tan/beige/light brown.

Yes, I understand it's hot and you want light colors to reflect more of the sun's energy, but come on! How about a little yellow on the trim work? Maybe a blue garage door? I even asked one of the bartenders at the Mariott if you ever see a green house or even some color on the homes. he said it's really rare...
