Answers may or may not correlate to the actual question depending on whether my eyes are focusing at the time.

7. I don't understand those words put together in that order
Switch to decaf? Honestly, that phrase makes no sense to me.

I've cut way way back on my coffee this week. Not one cup after noon, and it ain't helping.

8. Okay punk.
The local library has the following China Miéville books:
Embassytown
Kraken : an anatomy
The city & the city
The scar

Which one should I check out first?

10. Wait...what?
Kracken is probably the most accessible for the first-timer. The City & The City was rough going, but worth it in the end, just that I think his writing is at it's all time weirdest in this one. The Scar is a fantastic book, but it makes more sense if you read Perdido Street Station first (they're both set in the same universe, although The Scar is a fine stand-alone novel in its own right). I just finished Embassytown and it's still fucking with my head, so I can't give any input yet. It needs to percolate for a while longer.

11. I heart you so much, nothing you do is bad.
Well, except that thing you did that time at that place. You know what I'm talking about.

19. I'm writing a paper called....
'Evaluation of five chemotherapeutics as potential anthelminthics against Bothriocephalus acheilognathi in golden shiners'.

Could you please break this down for me?

(Btw, spellcheck just called me an arrogant dickhead. I've never had that happen before.)

20. Have you tried MidNite?
I had the "wake up at 3 AM, can't go back to sleep". MidNite helped me break that pattern. When I do wake up in the middle of the night, it puts me right back to sleep within an hour. Wish I had tried it long ago.
