Pictures of my mom - for no particular reason
This was taken a few years before we met (LOL) when she was with the Red Cross during WWII. (I was not born until 1952)

She was stationed at Fort Brag in NC

and was sent to India in 1944 where she helped set up and run recreation and recoupment stations along the Ledo and Burma Roads
This is a picture of her at one of the libraries they set up for troops.

These are fantastic pictures! You're so fortunate to have them... And she's both patriotic and attractive. Kudos to your Mom! :toast:

6. Those are great
We used to have a pic of my mom and grandmother in Japan when mom was very young. They were there because my grandfather was stationed in Japan during the occupation. I have no idea what happened to the pictures but hopefully we will come across them sooner or later.
