Can I tell you about my last 2 weeks?

1. Fiance's bro is homeless.
2. Best friends's husband was stabbed 8 times in the back in Daytona.....had to have bowel surgery and tubes to drain fluid from his lungs.
3. Fiance's oldest bro diagnosed with cancer.
4. Fridge crapped out...$200 to fix.
5. Microwave crapped out.....my appliance guy, who is awesome, is looking into how much this will cost us to fix.
6. EMail at work has been down for 2 days......looking at 300+ emails when it comes back up.....maybe tomorrow......
7. Between my best friend and fiance's bro....all free rooms with hotels.com are GONE.

What is next? Jesus Christ! Anyone have any drugs that they can send to me? I think I've gone through at least $800 in the last week....don't have that to spend....oh well mortgage company....

The bro is doing well. He promises to get on the damn bus back to Chicago tomorrow. He loves the hotel room and being with my guy. Was knocking on his hotel door at 7 a.m. this morning to "see what is up". :-) Thinking he loves a nice hot shower and cable tv as well. He's all set up in a suite and is gonna hang out at the pool today. :-) All the clothes that we bought for him fit and per my guy "he's got a spring in his step". Even talking about getting a job back in Chicago.

Hoping that my BF's guy heals quickly....the scars are effing scary.

5. This is some good news

It seems that maybe your efforts have done some good. I hope the brother can hold onto all of the positive things you have done for him and the feeling of being a person who can take care of himself successfully.

WOW, too bad about your BF's husband, stuff like that is so out-of-the-blue, huge stress there, really, life seems so chaotic when stuff like that happens.

What is with your kitchen? Good you like the guy who is helping.

Glad you are hanging in there, because as you know, this too shall pass.
