So Chaz was eliminated on DWTS
He was never the best dancer on the show -- that has to be JR or Ricki Lake. But Chaz did well this week, and I thought he went out with flair. And great big kudos for his speech at the end!

It won't be the same without him. I can't believe Nancy Grace is still there.

1. I'll bet he's relieved.
He didn't really look like he was having fun. Its got to be a hell of a workout if you aren't in shape, and even if you are.

2. He gave it a helluva try! Props to Chaz!
I thought all the "ewok" and "penguin" cracks were unnecessary and disrespctful. He gave it his all.

Bravo!

3. At first, when he was having his injury issues
you could tell just how tough it was.

Seemed like the last couple of weeks he was starting to get a feel for it.

Oh, and if Bruno doesn't apologize next week, he needs to go, period.

Nobody should be insulted and made fun of like that,

4. Chaz deserved to go, imo.
He really wasn't that good. I hope Nancy goes next.

I am rooting for JR.

5. I'm rooting for JR, too.
But I was also rooting for Chaz to do well.

Jr is just so damn positive, after all that has happened to him.

Maybe you guys don't like her, but I do. Maybe it's because we share the same name.

7. Sorry, but Grace is not a dancer ... "grace"???? Really?
And frankly, I have no use for her as a lawyer ... as a prosecutor, she gave all lawyers a bad name. The Georgia Supreme Court cited her at least twice for prosecutorial misconduct.

As a dancer, she's got to go next week. She's the weakest remaining link.

She may last another week or two. Rob Kardashian needs to go as well. We'll see who goes first.

Too bad he didn't do it in front of the judges.

He is absolutely right when he says that there would be NO WAY you would hear the kind of hurtful criticism directed at a woman of the kind he's had to endure. With the women, they gush about the weight loss and the improvement in fitness, etc., but with Chaz...he waddles like a penguin.

I was struck by how relieved and happy he looked when he heard that he was going...first smile he cracked all night. He had gotten his belly full of that show, and I think he went out on his own terms. Good for him.

(And, oh yeah, Maks's call-out of the judges Monday night was spot on, too. About damned time.)

I can't believe Grace is still there either, but I think her number will be up pretty soon...possibly next week. I think it's a toss up if she or Hope will go first. Rob will hang in there, and will David, but it's obviously going to be a Ricki/J.R. finale. Go J.R.

21. Another 'mindless, moronic cretin fodder" show i don't watch.
Staring at a test pattern would be more intellectually stimulating than 95% of what is on broadcast TV nowadays.

23. They did a study once that showed your brain burns less calories
watching TV than it does sleeping. Basically your brain goes into shutdown/idle mode.

24. The tea party idiots kept Bristol Palin in way too long a couple of
seasons ago. Unfortunately the results are a mix of a measure of dancing "talent" and a contest to see who has the biggest "fan base" in order to generate the most viewer votes.

Nancy Grace is advertising that her winnings will go to an organization that benefits missing and exploited children. I trust that's what's keeping her going at this point.

Chaz wasn't the best dancer and it was time for him to go, but Bruno was unnecessarily brutal.
