My two choices are Patsy Cline and Karen Carpenter. I know there are many other worthy singers, but those two come to mind first.

52. Same here.
And since I've had a lot of friends who were musicians, I feel even worse about it because it makes me think that everyone (but me) can sing. I love to sing but can't eve find the tune, never mind carry it anywhere.

But they let him sing anyway.

He's fine on pop stuff. Doesn't have the technique to sing opera properly. Like when his mouth is just slack when it should be doing something.

Especially in his more rock-like incarnation from the late 90s early 2000s (he's gone too pop for my tastes since). I think his voice would fit the kind of music I make the best. Plus it seems to hold up really well in concert.

Then there's also Devin Townsend and Mike Patton, who are freaks of nature that can do just about anything vocally.

Alas my voice is kinda crappy, but I sing anyway. I say it's because it is impossible to find a singer in Italy that doesn't have a horrible accent when singing in English, but it's really because there's not enough room for a singer *and* my ego in one band...
