I cried, I hurt myself, I froze, I'm exhausted. But my team all finished.

4. Hell yes...
Quit smoking
8 months of cardio/strength training
1 month of no booze
4 days of hydrating
1 day of carb loading
1200 calorie breakfast
I'm in the best shape of my life.

All went out the window within the first mile and a half after the ice water bath and 2 freezing lake crossings. Spent the next 10 and a half miles limping with 2 locked up calves and freezing my ass off. A black guy should never have white toes under any circumstances.

Can't wait for the next one!!!

6. I'm better for having done it.
Sort of one of those things where you don't know how you would react until you are in the thick of it.

They posted some photos from the event on their Facebook. None were of my team, but you can get an idea about the event.

We did Sunday the 13th.
