Apology - Retraction - Resignation

To anyone I injured or offended with my inappropriate and insensitive statement concerning my nephews service as a Marine in Iraq; Please accept my sincere apologies.
I was wrong. I retract the statement.

1. Didn't see it, but I'm sure that's not necessary
We all say something foolish now and again. Hang in there, or if you really want to go, best wishes to you.

2. Apology accepted. It takes a big man to admit you were wrong
and apologize. Saying hurtful, insensitive things makes us like the bad guys. Apologizing for them and admitting you were wrong makes us better than the bad guys. Welcome to DU. I think you'll like it here.
