7. DISASTEROUS.

Hell, the US Army can't even pull off a mission without it leaking to the press and screwing everything up. We've been talking about it and anyone who has done the leaking, per say, should be tried for treason, no appeals, and then shot in the head. I know I sound like a freeper, but I'm a nervous wreck, as I'm sure anyone who has friends and family over there are. And there are soldiers dying because of the insurgence caused by the press and whoever leaked the info to them.

8. I understand how you feel. I even agree.

I'd add that we've been hiring local Iraqis in large numbers - to imagine that all of them are friendly to the US is hopelessly optimistic.

I hope those you're close to come out all right. A friend of mine came back on a few months ago, and doesn't want any contact. I fear something bad happened... :(
