Just cleaned and re-stocked the storm cellar.

After sweeping it out and wiping the walls and benches off, I put 10 gallons of fresh, bottled water down there, changed the batteries in the radio and flash lights, stocked extra batteries, changed out the canned goods, restocked the 1st-aid kit and put fresh blankets in. I even remembered to put dog and cat food down there this year.

Bring it on, Mother Nature (I'm kidding). :)

We're right in the smack-dab middle of Tornado Alley. We're also in an earthquake zone (New Madrid Fault). We were under a tornado warning 5 times last year, and 2 actually came within a mile of the house...
