Maine Grassroots Training (9/19)
ATTENTION: MAINE DEMOCRATS

On Sunday, September 19th we will be hosting our first volunteer organizing conventions in Portland and Bangor.

Maine is one of the battleground states in the race for the Presidency. We are deep into the process of recruiting and training volunteers in every part of the state. Over 3,000 Maine Democrats have already signed up to volunteer on JohnKerry.com for the election that will change the course of this country.

Join us for the conventions and learn how you can participate in the largest grassroots campaign in Maine history! We need your help to personally contact our neighbors in every part of the state. We need your help to build the local infrastructure in every community that will guarantee victory for the Democratic ticket on November 2nd.

(They expect a Kerry/Edwards surrogate speaker to attend both events.)

The Portland convention will be held at Portland High School and runs from noon until 5:00 PM. The Bangor convention will be at Bangor High School from 1 - 6 PM.

In southern Maine contact Anne Bagley (portland@mainedems.org at the Portland office (553-7047) to RSVP for the convention.

In central Maine contact Ben Buxton (Lewiston@mainedems.org ) at the Lewiston office (689-2142) to RSVP for the convention.

In northern Maine, contact Torvic Vardamis (Bangor@mainedems.org ) at the Bangor office to RSVP for the convention.
