"American Jobs" -- the movie, go see it

The director, Greg Spotts, is touring America showing his movie. I caught it in Seattle, and it is pretty good. If there are young people in the family (junior high on up) it is a particularly good idea to have them see it.

1. And also ...."There's Something About W"....go see it

I love these movies that are coming out right now, after such a long drought from 2001-2003.

And...as I posted somewhere else on these boards...there's another good indie documentary about G.W.'s negative impact on the world, that everyone (especially "undecideds") should see before the election -- it's called "There's Something About W." It features lots of footage of G.W. in action-- twisted words and all, in contrast to the hard data on his policies; and interviews with Molly Ivins, Paul Krugman, Daniel Ellsberg, and others.

I saw on the filmmakers' web site that there are screenings scheduled right now in California, Michigan, and Florida...at this point, the best way to get this movie shown (and the message out) is to sponsor a house party or screening yourself. Their web site (with sample clips) is:
