House pushing marriage amendment this week-Sept. 27
In an attempt to limit the civil and privacy rights of same-gender couples, the House leadership is pushing for a vote on the Federal Marriage Amendment this week. While this constitutional amendment purports to define marriage as being between a man and a woman, it is really much more. The FMA is an effort to undermine the right to privacy in our nation's most sacred document, the Constitution. Stand in solidarity with us to support respect for every American's right to make personal decisions about their health and relationships — without government interference.

1. Otherwise known as "Wedge Week"
What would the GOP be without its wedge issues.

2. Followed by "Wedgie Week" in which the "adults in charge"
give all of the recalcitant Democrats who insist on representing their constituents a Mega-Super-Wedgie.
