Evidently, invitation-only events are the only way he can campaign without being run out of town on a rail--the sickening bastard.

1. I'd like Tuscon to be the next locale for fleeing Texas Dems.
Surely Janet will protect them, along with Terry Goddard and the Pima County Sheriff.

Texas Democrats: Doing our part for the tourism industries of Oklahoma and New Mexico.

2. What a * fawning article!!
SURE he's trying to protect forests!!<heavy, heavy sarcasm>

GREENS who are really concerned with wise forest management instead of political-forest-"management"-that-gives-away-the-forest-to-timber-companies ought to be PROTESTING IN DROVES!!

3. As it turns out, there will be no opportunity.
The chicken lizard is flying in to the local airbase and helicoptering up to the town at the top of the mountain. And the road to the top will be closed down during his speech to the invitation-only audience.

That road has closed in the past only because of disasters. So, I guess that hasn't changed.

My only hope is that some true environmentalists will be in that audience--ones who know that his forest thinning initiative is nothing more than the government subsidized, privatized rape of our timberlands.
