OK, I know, those Republican bastards are definitely goin' down, but if * steals it again, what do we do? Riot in the streets? Should we at least start to think about it now?

1. Sure...
Infiltrators, FBI agents: discuss quietly amongst yourselves.

2. It is our job now to make sure that can't happen.
Kerry has been talking up BBV and for once it is in the media, and not being treated like it is a complete bull shit conspiracy theory. It is a good topic for us, we win either way. We get to let people know they are lying cheaters and they can't complain b/c it makes them look like the thieves they are.

On Dobbs the other night, some one sent in an e-mail that said, "The only people that want electronic voting are crooked politicians and idiots."

Bravo!

3. I think it's like 9-11
can only happen once. Notice I said "I think". I believe they know they can only pull off that kind of shit once. We're dumb, but not that dumb. Also, I don't think Kerry would roll over and take it like Al did.

4. Mr Rogers Wants To Know, "Can You Say Revolution Boys And Girls?"
Don't laugh, the country is so polarized that a stolen Bush election is nothing more than a ticking bomb waiting for the right moment to explode.

5. Even another terror attack will only make them look bad.
They were suppose to be making us safer, they spent plenty of our money supposedly making us look safer. The cat is out of the bag, and the Busheviks will be out of the White House.

Thank god!

7. Can you say "Don't get shot down in the streets?"
Edited on Fri Mar-12-04 03:54 AM by struggle4progress
Can you say "Organize without easily-identified leaders?"

Can you say "Pack city council meetings and legislative hearings?"

Can you say "Express opinions obliquely using art and humor?"

Can you say "Get off the grid and distrust cyberspace?"

Can you say "Organize behind the scenes in churches and in homes?"

Can you say "Sing in the streets?"

Can you say "Remember Gandhi and King and Mandela?"

Can you say "Believe that good can triumph in the end?"

Can you say "Use the personal as political?"

Can you say "Make love not war?"

You're right: the country is terribly polarized, and it is not laughing matter. But if those creeps pull 2000 again, rage alone will be inadequate: we will need love and genius. In fact, we should start practicing right now.

6. Having a revolution
It would be good to at least consider it as a (remote) possibility. And one way that would make it less worrisome- is for us to look at things as a whole. We should not put all of our eggs into this one basket. If it's just this one election between the two top guys, and nothing else matters, well, that is not a good strategy. Because we should be fighting for every single democratic candidate whatever the state, and every prop that is for the people not the corporations.
There are elections in Texas for seats that have been stolen. There were Calif. props that Swarzenegger won, only because people did not get the word out, and many people did not understand what they were voting on.
As a result of our desire for change, we got Dean, Kucinich, moveon.org, and a really strong fighter-John Kerry- to slay the dragon. We've gotten Lou Dobbs, and Bev Harris and Arianna Huffington, Nancy Pelosi, Michael Moore, and many more than that, who are stepping up to the plate. It's impt that we nurture these really positive steps, and the systems that will evolve from our people, our viewpoints, our organizations. If we lose the election, it will be another theft, and I hope we will fight even harder afterwards. It's our time, our money, our revolution.

8. Loosing this election is not an option, quit thinking that way
start thinking instead about all the fighting Dems are probably going to be doing after Bush is gone.

From Lieberman to Nader, we have a lot of things to talk about.

10. exposing bbv
Well, he is doing programs on bbv- that's what I meant to say.
No he hasn't come out against Bush. But given the timidity of our press and television networks etc., he suddenly comes across as really courageous to do the bbv programs.

11. Riots are a perfectly acceptable response
But we'd be much better to organize the hell out of our base and any unregistered voters anywhere, including parolees, their families, and other disinfranchised voters.
