Your local media-write a display ad, take out a classified, write letter

People read your local area newspaper. If it doesn't have a letters section (or if not all letters are printed), take out a display ad to say what you want. It's also very cheap to put in classified ads with a comment, for example, listing a Bush Flip Flop or Bait & Switch.

I write LTE so often that they have imposed restrictions one my sending them.

2. I'm considering asking my local dem party to take out ads

that convey a general Dem message between now and the election. I thought it would be really cheap to put together an ad using a quote from a famous politician or even King George and then ask readers to vote Democratic.

All we have in our county is 5 weekly papers who rarely touch on politics though puke incumbants manage to get several articles about their "activities" at the capitol on a regular basis. These ads seem like a good way to start getting a message in front of people.

it's very good to do this. until you get to the point where the local periodical will not print your letters. ads work well, however in conservative nebraska, i've been denied on a couple of occasions for one reason or another . . ..
