Let's greet the freeps at the opening of F911
Here in Los Angeles we're going to the opening of Fahrenheit 9/11 to show our support and hopefully have a couple of hoots at the expense of the local freepers. Post here if you have similar plans. Take some pictures of the event. This could be fun. We'll also be bringing plenty of flags and a sign that says "you can't handle the truth!"

Here's some freeper sites that show what they're up to:

2. i just read some posts from FR and lmao.
to paraphrase: i'm not about censorship but mm and f911 is about propaganda against bush and conservatives so that is why i am against them showing it.

:WTF: these people are so stupid, it hurts. :hurts:

ping???!!?!! how lame. sounds like they are going to have tea and crumpets afterwards.

3. We're making up fliers, and wearing our DU t-shirts
I just purchased our tickets online for the opening here on Long Island. We're going to treat this like a holiday, and going out for a celebratory cheeseburger too!

Good idea about the camera, we'll take lots of pictures! Thanks for the links.

7. Will do
I signed the pledge the moment their email arrived. Also been sending emails of support to the theaters showing the film and encouraging those undecided to show it. Also have been writing the media and Congress-critters. It's the least I can do, I refuse to be quiet while the GOPers try to bully me and everyone else.

I'm just too excited about next Friday! :)

6. Oakland CA, Grand Lake Theatre, 7:30 pm, 6/25/04
Already have tickets, along with several friends. We'll have an early dinner at the Tai restaurant just down the block then we'll wait in line for good seats. I expect this to be a SELL OUT. Any DUers out there want to join us??

When I was researching these guys after the last protest
in the city I noticed most of the bozo's came from Sacto.

11. Love to see them show up at this

All two of them. These beige shirts are too funny. See their nazi lite act at http://forum.protestwarrior.com/viewtopic.php?t=20344

The crude graphics are so 1941 Germany. Their disinformation techniques are from a parallel universe.

18. The lines are already forming
It was on the news at 11:00. There are already lines. You might want to get over there this afternoon and buy your tickets ahead of time. They're selling them.

15. Might be smart to take a camera. Photograph any disruptors so you
can ID them later, if need be. Plus, it's good for evidence if they misbehave. Just a defensive move...

17. That's a wonderful idea...
I'll do that... print up a bunch of forms from the website where I got mine when I moved... and I'll bring them along with me tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestion. :)

14. Several of us karate moms here in L.A. plan to buy a few extra tickets
just so we can pump up the box office totals.

I don't care if it has an R rating. I'm gonna make sure my kids see it, too. It's not like they're toddlers.

19. report from Sacramento, first day, first show
When my brother and I arrived there was only three other people. Geez, thought we've only got fifteen minutes to go and there's only five us.

That's was before I took a second look at my cell phone clock and realized we were actually an hour early. The theater quickly filled up soon after. The ushers had to chase out folks trying to sit in the aisles.

The movie? Yeah, we laughed and we cried, but it was almost too much to take in. Michael Moore tooks us on a long, long roller coaster ride.

While there's moments when Michael Moore will have you rolling on the floor, there's are also moments that will make you cringe or wince with emotion. The moments with the American mother who had lost her son to the Iraq war was really painful. That's not to mention the cries of pain from Iraqi Mothers.

Goddamn the puppet masters who control this regime. I don't believe in hell but if there is one, they've got a front row seat on the train to damnation.
