Dear Congressman:

On Hardball, August 2, 2004, you stated that you would move to impeach George W. Bush if evidence indicated that the Terror Alerts were misused for political purposes. This evidence has now surfaced in several news outlets.

Quite clearly, considering the timing of the release of three-year-old information immediately following the Democratic National Convention, no one can soundly argue that this could be anything else but politically motivated fear mongering and misuse of the Terror Alert system.

When do you plan on fulfilling your promise to the American people by calling on the impeachment of George W. Bush? I would like to record it on C-Span.

Finally, I want to thank you for putting patriotism over your party by initiating impeachment proceedings.

1. I'm so outraged...

impeachment isn't enough. I want them tried, convicted and given the same sentence as all treasonous war criminals. If America as a nation is going to put up with the neverending high crimes and misdemeanors of this administration, we do not deserve democracy. I've had enough of this. These bastards need to be forcibly removed from office in utter disgrace.



On edit: And the most important thing of all: Good for you for sending this letter out! I will sign any new petition that comes out that concerns impeaching these bastards. I wish we could all get together and file a civil suit against the Bush government.

but i find it enjoyable pointing out to people what they said, holding them accountable, etc.

If nothing else, someone will probably have to spin up an answer on it.
