Jindal moves to Jefferson Parish as he eyes run for Congress
Baton Rouge-AP) -- Failed Republican candidate for governor Bobby Jindal is moving to Jefferson Parish and pledging that his family will stay in Louisiana.

Jindal said today that he will make a decision by the end of the month whether to seek the open First District congressional seat currently held by US Representative David Vitter.

Vitter plans to run for the Senate seat being vacated by veteran US Senator John Breaux. Jindal is traveling the state this week thank his supporters from the governor's race.

The 32-year-old Jindal, the son of Indian immigrants, lost to Kathleen Blanco in the November runoff after shocking many political veterans at his strong showing in the primary election and robust fund-raising abilities.

1. But didn't he say he wasn't a career politician?
I could have sworn that he campaigned on the fact that he wasn't a career politician.

2. Don't you have to actually get elected to something?
And receive a paycheck before you can be a "career politician".

Let's hope his honesty is still intact after November.

4. Don't you have to be white (i.e. European) to live there?
I thought that was a rule.
