Graham: Bush ought to stop trying to blame others for his fall
"Now the Bush White House and the Bush CIA are pointing fingers at each other over the president's misleading claim about Iraqi uranium purchases from Niger," U.S. Sen. Bob Graham, D-Florida, said in a written statement. "Mr. President, stop trying to pass the buck. You made the baseless claim; you should take responsibility."

1. Someone should be fired!

<U.S. Sen. John McCain, R-Arizona, said there should be an investigation to determine how inaccurate information was included in the president's speech and that whoever was responsible should be fired. "Hold somebody responsible," he said. >

The *resident's credibility is on the line? Hello! He doesn't have any.

2. Captain of the ship, the buck stops here, all that
CNN July 10

GRAHAM: Well, I believe in the old admonition if you're the captain of
the ship and the ship goes aground, you're responsible.

******
Wasn't the nation told we could trust this guy Bush as the one who would bring integrity back the White House? And when he screws up, he starts blaming anybody.

Are we reeeeally supposed to believe that the questions about the WMD intel, which even =I=, a mere citizen who reads a few newspapers on the internet, thought sounded pretty off-beat and shaky, was never ever even once, not even one teensy tiny little bit, suggested to George by the CIA? Never once did they breathe a word? When they knew it was a forgery?

That's asking us to swallow a lot.

3. How true
I was on a ship once that ran aground, only 17,000 dollars worth of damage, no one hurt. Commanding Officer fired, Navigator fired, Officer of the Deck fired and Chief Quartermaster fired. As they say "you can hand out authority but not responsibility" that always belongs at the top.

4. Bob Graham is on a roll. Best statements yet in the campaign. Chimpy
and Rove have to be nervous.

These statements clearly suggest 'coward' be attached to Chimpy's record as a 'liar'.
