Can we gather together a synopsis of who's supporting
Edited on Wed Aug-27-03 12:03 PM by molly
which candidate so far? For instance, who is supporting Dean - who is supporting Kerry - who is supporting Kucinich, etc, etc.

OK - let's change the word to ENDORSEMENTS!

12. are you thinking of Jerry Nadler?
I think you are thinking of the NY congressional rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) who was one of the speakers at Dean's NYC speech last night.

I doubt that Nachman would be giving a presidential endorsement.

Here is a funny article on celebrity supporters, although it leaves out the fact that Martin Sheen is endorsing Dean and Kucinich's big score of Willie Nelson's endorsement, I love Willie.

Poor Lieberman, the only celebs he has in his corner are Debra Messing and Monty Hall baha how fitting, Let's make a Deal indeed.

I can't find a link to that. Thanks for helping, though!

ON EDIT: I compiled it myself based on media reports, http://www.politics1.com , and the candidates' websites.

funny how each of the candidates in congress are listed under their own names. I thought Lieberman was endorsing Bush.

17. That's actually taken from my delegate count spreadsheet
Candidates who are members of Congress are listed as superdelegates for themselves. You'll also note that governors are listed there (Easley).

Seriously, though - Barbara Ehrenreich and Studs Terkel are top notch people. I'd feel a whole lot better with them behind me.

21. Kucinich
but I also like Dean and Clark and will support the eventual candidate unless its Lie - berman. In that case, well, I'm certain I'll hold my nose and vote for him unless there is a viable 3rd party can.

25. Kucinich you betcha
I dont mind Dean, Kerry, or Gephardt. You may ask why Gephardt, hes economically a populist and after DK the best in that respect. Dean, Kerry, and Kucinich are best on social issues. Kucinich has the best of both worlds hence why I support him. Plus hes a sucess story and also he has a terrific work ethic, and he is so right on the issues.

26. I have a list....
I endorse in this order:

Whichever Democratic Candidate wins the nomination for President.
Edwards
Kerry
Kucinich
Dean

then everybody else.

No matter what, I will fight hard for the Democratic nominee. It will be harder for me if its Howard Dean, but I'll do it with a smile.
