Air America reorg under name Piquant, LLC to avoid owner Cohen personal
debts.

The assets of Air America are reported to be sold to a new corporate entity, leaving creditors of its existing corporate parents, Progress Media and Radio Free America, high and dry. According to the Chicago Tribune article 6/19, the new owner will be an outfit called Piquant, LLC, controlled by the original founders of the mini-net, Sheldon

The purpose of the transaction is twofold: to eliminate and his partner Rex Sorensen's shares in the company, and to insulate the cash-strapped network from any debt or other obligation that Cohen may have incurred.

2. Great move and guess what?
Mike Malloy and Peter Werbe are the Grobnick's favorite hosts!! They had an agreement with Mike to be on AAR before Cohen took over. Maybe now we'll hear him nationwide again!

4. 11pm-2am M-F would be great
or even just a weekend slot would be great. But I'm not sure if they're planning to hire anyone else for a while given their financial situation. I'd rather seem them focus their energy on getting more affiliates at the moment.
