Lou Dobbs: (gets paid to fence sit)

Lou Dobbs: Opportunist and Propagandist Who Plays Both Sides of the Fence to Make a Buck

http://www.democrats.com/

Lou Dobbs is one oily character. While appearing to bash Bush on his Moneyline program on CNN, decrying outsourcing policies, in private, via his "confidential" Lou Dobbs Money Letter, he urges subscribers ("only" $199.00 per year!) to invest in the very companies doing the heaviest outsourcing. One day he agrees with Al Franken that there's no liberal media bias - then in his newsletter writes: "often misled by the chronically liberal media, are making a huge mistake right now. They are underestimating the good that George Bush is doing for the economy¦." All a gimmick to rake in suckers on both sides. Now in his latest columns, he is becoming a GOP propagandist, currently pushing their latest strategy: to convince voters there's really no difference between Kerry and Bush - under an intentionally deceptive headline about candidate "differences."(see www.cnn.com/2004/US/08/04/not.similar)
--------------------------------------------

he has good perks - has Fridays off and goes on frequent vacations

his running thing on outsourcing is theater. he will go on about outsourcing and then turn to guests, sometimes several at the same time, all 100% for outsourcing. after they give their spiel he will shake his head and murmer - but what about the workers, etc. when the spot is over they all smirk and go to commercial.

1. I have thought highly of Dobbs on outsourcing until this.
What a slime! I may actually get off my duff and write a little nasty-gram to Mr. Dobbs. That leaves Aaron Brown, and maybe Anderson Cooper, as the only semi-decent talking heads on CNN. No wonder I almost never pause on their channel with the remote. MSNBC looks better and better--after C-SPAN and The Newshour.

I need to read Dobb's money letter and have more facts.

Anyone have access to a Lou Dobbs Moneyline Newsletter?
