Hannity's moral dilemma
I love stuff like this, when the lies become so thick that you can't keep track of them...

On the August 10 edition of FOX News Channel's Hannity & Colmes, co-host Sean Hannity falsely claimed that President George W. Bush has denounced and disassociated himself from a recently released TV ad by the anti-Kerry group Swift Boat Veterans for Truth. Hannity's guest, Jeh Johnson (attorney, former general counsel of the Department of the Air Force and Kerry adviser), pointed out that "editorial pages in the newspapers have denounced ... and have called upon President Bush to disassociate himself" from the discredited claims in the ad; Hannity responded, "The president has, by the way. The president has, and through his office."

First, as Media Matters points out, Hannity lied once again. Hardly newsworthy, of course.

But second, assume the lie were true. Shouldn't Hannity's brain-dead followers be wondering why their Great Leader has denounced the Swift Boat ad?

2. if I were God...
...I would've built a mechanism into humans that caused their heads to explode when they uttered absurdities.

For instance, today, when Hannity said that Kerry was wrong to return from Vietnam and speak out against the horrors of the war and what soldiers were doing, his head would've exploded when, in the next breath, he said that Kerry was wrong to try and silence veterans who had fought and suffered for their right to speak freely.

Then, all the people who heard his comments and nodded in agreement would have had their heads explode as well.

Of course, I don't get to be god, and so we are all forced to suffer the total and absolute dishonesty and/or stupidity of our fellow human beings. Tsk.

It's gotten to the point where all I can do is laugh. I wonder how one of these idiots would react on the news shows if the Dem sent to counter were to just break out laughing. Just start laughing hysterically, and don't even address the idiot, but turn to the "journalist" moderating and just say, "can you believe this shit? C'mon."

And speaking of "journalists," I couldn't believe Chris Matthews last night. When someone pointed out that the doctor in the Swift ad wasn't the doctor who signed the paperwork, he said, "is that true?"

Chris, are you retarded? This story's been out for over a week. Don't you READ anything? Don't you bother to RESEARCH the topics you're going to discuss on your show? C'mon, man, it's not like it's that difficult to fucking google this shit. The story about the doctor has been known for days. You really made an ass of yourself with that one. More than usual. I was really surprised. It actually made me think that perhaps you're not really dishonest, just lazy and ignorant.

End rant.

5. I caught the very end of the show and Hannity
looked like he was pouting...sitting back slouched in his chair with his arms folded and a smirk on his face...

Looks like he might of had a rough night??? I missed it but this could be why! LOL!

8. I don't see a dilemma
Lying is the natural course that Hannity always takes.

Since many in here were never listeners of these types of trolls I, as a former Ditto-head, will enlightened you.

“We” don’t care if Sean or Rush are not always correct, because they are “waging the war” for “us”, against “evil Liberals.” And afterall, Liberals are “more wrong” than “we” are.

I remember very vividly when Limbaugh went on one of his anti-environmental tirades. Though a Right-Wing Conservative, for some whacky reason I loved nature and wanted to protect it. He made several statements I KNEW were 100% inaccurate. Instead of questioning the legitimacy of my hero I chose to simply ignore the issue. What I NEVER DID was think, “Damn…I just heard Rush say something I know is not right…Wonder if he’s doing this on all the other issues I’m not so sure about?”

NOPE…Never did that. Didn’t objectively analyze why I was Conservative and why I was choosing to become a brainless parrot in the parade of fanatical lunatics. It’s too easy to be a Conservative. You didn’t have to think, read, and objectively analyze different perspectives and opinions. You merely had to plug-in each day from 12-3 and by the time the drug began to wear off it was EIB time again.

10. The most misleading thing here is the
implication that Hannity has morals to begin with.
