The media is soooo easily led (re: SBVT)
Last night on CNN I caught a little bit flipping through, and Daryn Kagan (I believe) had some guy on from the WSJ (no surprise there). Anyway, rather than talk about the credibility of the SBV liars and the legitimacy of the ads, they were talking about 527 MONEY IN POLITICS! WTF?

1. The purpose of the Swift Boat Liars, imho
is to spotlight how 527s can be abused so that ALL 527s will be curtailed. This is because there are more liberal 527s than conservative ones, and they are being very effective in getting out a truthful message.

2. Except for Lou Dobbs, CNN has been a front for bush
What is interesting is MSNBC now seems be moving to a more middle of the road position with Chris Mathews and Keith Oberman.

In my view, for MSNBC this is straight business. What has been going on for the last three plus years is essentially a one-sided discourse of the right wing agenda.

The success of Air America, and the divisions in the country, I believe may have caused MSNBC to recognize that there is at least 50% of the country whose views are not being represented, and they are now shifting in that direction.

How long it will last remains to be seen...

4. Media Bias
Just for fun (yes, I'm a sick person!), I've been monitoring the early morning Web headlines of CNN, Fox News, and AL Jazeera. The results are posted at Results.

As you would expect, both CNN and Fox News apparently decided that the "big story" this past weekend was the Swift Boat liars...
