CNN Co-founder Reese Schonfeld says Bush a shoe in thanks to FNC
I have found time to do this once more and if you’re a Kerry fan the results ain’t good. FoxNews has more viewers than all other three networks combined.

Prime Time September 20th - 26th

FoxNews 57.5%
CNN 24.3%
MSNBC 11.1%
Headline News 7.1%

Total Day

FoxNews 51.5%
CNN 25.3%
MSNBC 12.6%
Headline News 10.6%

Analysis

If this is predictive of the election Bush is pulling further ahead. Worse case for Kerry only Republicans watch FoxNews while some CNN, MSNBC and Headline News viewers are Republicans or independents. If that’s the case, it’s a Bush landslide. Otherwise it’s still 52% to 48% Bush over Kerry and Kerry’s got a shot.

These are the worst numbers I’ve seen for Kerry and far and away the worst numbers I’ve seen, so far, for CNN.

1. to everything, spin, spin, spin
the only folks I know who watch Faux are repukes. Don't know of a liberal or Dem who does. And a lot of folks who are planning to vote don't watch any news.

4. This is a novel approach
But does not take into consideration the Kerry Supporters watching Faux, the non-voters in your numbers, and about a thousand other factors. I don't know Reese personally, but he doesn't sound as bright as his job would have you believe him to be.

6. Yet you've omitted the three broadcast networks

The total viewership for ABC, CBS and NBC news is more than twice as large as the entire cable news-watching audience. Revenue-wise, Dan Rather's CBS Evening News brings in triple the amount of ad dollars that the O'Lielly Factor brings in.

7. Only a tiny percentage of voters watch cable news, so this
proves nothing.

I see you have 33 posts and so I warmly welcome you to DU. I should warn you, sometimes people who are not sympathetic to our cause will posts depressing things such as this. It is nothing to worry your pretty little head over as it is just their way have thinking they are witty or rather intelligent. Don't fret hairy, no one else here takes them with anything more than a grain of little poopy polyps.

12. I'm for kerry and edwards....
I am for Kerry and Edwards and hope they beat bush and company. The problem is we've got this little propoganda machine called Faux News reporting that everything in this country is "fine and dandy!" Well it's not. This election year I ask myself "am i better off than I was 4 years ago" and I can reply NO! I am out of a JOB, been hunting and the only thing available are minimum wage next to nothing JOBS. Good thing I saved some money during the clinton years and hopefully that will tie me over til my next opportunity comes along.

11. The hard core right wing voting bloc is only 37% at tops....
we only worry about the 13% who could go either way
plus the people who haven't voted before
plus theft, fraud, cheating, manipulation of our vote.

50% of those who will be voting MIGHT watch FOX but it doesn't mean they'll vote for Bush. Some might actually watch Fox to see the stupid, grating court jesters they have on in the morning - or the car chases. It doesn't mean they are watching H and O'R or even believing them.
