this morning. I tried to start a thread on this, but am unable to do that -- although I could this weekend.
We need to get the word to AAR that we are listening, and this was not okay.
There was some guy on there who had been following an independent voter who ended up voting for Bush in Florida. The gist was that Kerry was a "slease" and the Dems ran a poor campaign insofar as countering the drubbing Kerry was getting from the Repubs.
So after this guy leaves, the top ten things to do for the day started with something like, "people in the blogosphere need to quit going over exit polls and get on with it that we lost and * won.
I'm still boiling over this. This kind of trashing of the efforts of those who are working to see that all the votes were counted correctly is not only counterproductive, it in effect helps cut us off at the knees.
I love AAR, but this was unconscionable. As the old saw goes, with friends like that, who needs enemies.
