NBC tries to out whore FOX - claims Kerry response "tortured" but does
Subject: NBC tries to out whore FOX - claims Kerry response "tortured" but does
not explain response -

namely - that Kerry wanted to pay for $87 billion for military in Iraq - via cuts in the Bush tax cuts on the rich.

Seems NBC TODAY SHOW feels that was not as important as getting the Rove message out.

Even followed with Matt calling on Chris Mathews so Chris could say that Bush had scored a Bulls eye with the Kerry voted against military spending in Iraq ad.

Then Matt asked Albright as part of the discussion of the new poll that showed Bush policies hated around the world "wouldn't you want to know which leaders say they wanted you replaced as Sec of State"

Then Matt followed with tape of bin Laden taken via predator overflight during Clinton - implying that Clinton had a chance to get bin Laden, and then barely gave Albright time to note that the predator was unarmed, had crashed (it was new technology) and that Clinton asked that it be armed in the future - he did not give her time to note that Clinton then ordered a rapid response - subs with missiles - to the area - to follow up on any more sightings - and that indeed that sub response force was pulled by Bush in Feb 01 as one of Bush's early "pro-terrorist" acts.

And all through this the only credible reporter on Today that is left - Katy Couric- was not to be seen.

Indeed we had the Bush ass kissing speech writer lady doing a piece afterwards - just to show the GE management how good a whore Matt is.

2. What's up with NBS and MSNBC? What's their interests with Bush?
I think it probably has to do with their Westinghouse division winning defense contracts under Bush.

3. GE's Welch told Russert to bias to Bush, and now Leno has joined in
From "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" :

"John Kerry says that he wants to debate President Bush once a month until the election. This could be a risky move for Senator Kerry. If Bush doesn't show up for the debates, John Kerry may end up debating an empty chair. And that could be pretty much a toss up as to which one has the better personality. It can go either way."

And the Bush joke was .........

Well, in last 4 weeks Leno did a half dozen very mild Bush jokes - in one week - a couple a night during that week. I suspect that makes him unbiased to our whore media.

4. Wonder if GE/NBC Russert will ever report McCain said he can't trust Bush
BILL MOYERS: If you can't trust them (The Bush Administration), why can we?

SENATOR JOHN MCCAIN: I don't...I can't answer that, except to say that in 20 years around this town I've never had my word...I've never had people break their word to me in this fashion.

http://www.pbs.org/now/printable/transcript_mccain_print.html

I know it's borderline criminal for some around here to put in a positive word about McCain, but he has a lot of respect from people on both sides of the political spectrum around the country. And when he says "I can't answer that....in 20 years around this town I've never had people break their word to me in this fashion" that will strike home to some people.

It's all about the credibility gap.
