I'm ashamed of and disappointed with NPR!

For the first time ever, I had to turn off the "Sunday Morning" news program in sheer disgust. A Ronald Reagan memorial love-fest. They even cut out the Will Shortz puzzle segment, as if having a harmless puzzle would desecrate the greatness of the moment. It's just too much! Leane Hansen should be ashamed - though, in fairness, she probably had little or no choice. I gave up TV more than 20 years ago. I depend on NPR for news (along with newspapers, magazines, and the internet). Now they've turned to the dark side. First they fire Bob Edwards (OK, they only shoved him aside) and now this s***. The tragedy is, there's no real alternative. *end of rant*

While they haven't become FOX News they are increasingly shilling for the Republicans.

Why do people hired by public media outlets always become so ultra-phlegmatic?
