Actual trees actually give their lives in the service of its publication. Live trees, on any given day, provide a far more valuable service to society than The Herald.

Unless, of course, you own a bird. Then, you have a shit collector to use as a shit collector. Then, The Herald reaches it's truest potential.

3. I "read" the Herald for the first time in many months last week

You don't read it. Actually, you thumb through the ads (one story per page with ads filling the rest of the page) and in this great issue the bathing beauties showing off the bikini look for the upcoming season along with a photo of a woman having her breast signed by the Indie 500 winner on the sports page. I hate it when the Globe is sold out.
