2. Censorship isn't the answer..
We complain because they want to stop Farenheit 9/11 but cheer when they try to censor The Big Fat Idiot. As much as I'd like to get rid of that asshole censoring him isn't the answer

3. Sorry got too excited.
He introduced a bill to make sure that the other side is heard. He did not advocate taking Rush off, just adding an opposing viewpoint.

4. Well, Dude
(and welcome to Du, BTW)

I'll be more than satisfied if the end result of this effort isn't getting Limbaugh off Armed Forces Radio as getting some balance on it.

5. We don't want him censored...
If Armed Forces Radio is going to put him on their network FREE, then they need to extend FREE time for Air America.

Sounds good to me. Otherwise, OFF HE GOES.

6. While the fairness doctrine is not being enforced
and while no opposing view to Limpball's spew is being heard, I'm all for getting the fat dope addict the hell off armed services radio. Replace him with music, replace him with comedy, just replace him!

Limpballs is nothing but propaganda of the worst sort. It really doesn't belong on a service with a captive audience.

7. Rush Limbo

Our sainted President has called the Fat Ass a "national treasure".

He should answer for his irresponsible comments on the behavior of U.S military and intelligence officers at Abu Gharaib, don't you agree? For the U.S kids to hear that it's just frat pranks, makes me puke. Copiously.

10. Brock Petition
http://mediamatters.org/

This is Brock's site. At the top you can sign a petition to have Limbaugh removed from armed services radio, which is funded by tax dollars btw. This petition supposedly has 26,000 and rising signitures.

11. See, I don't see dropping Limbaugh as 'censorship'...

Censorship is when the means to express an idea or viewpoint is ultimately denied. When Disney refused to distribute Fahrenheit 9/11, that was censorship in that they held the rights to the movie, something they reluctantly chose to part with when they sold the rights over to the Weinstein brothers.

Limbaugh, on the other hand, is not being prevented from spouting his crap: he owns his own broadcasting studio, and there are plenty of talk radio stations that will happily carry his swill. It is not necessary, however, for tax-payer money to be used to carry his sorry ass, especially as there are few opposing viewpoints available (Air America is probably not high on the Pentagon's list of viable alternatives, and I could just see Colmes being the suggested "balance").

Having had to endure his noise while I was in the desert, I would be more than happy to just hear some decent classic rock instead...
