1. They claim that people have the braisn to make decions for themselvs. Then why are they Anti Choice and Pro Hmo mmm don't they trust us.

2. The claim to want to protect Human life then why do they order thousand of people to their death when they want to start a war.

3. They claim to be religoes yet they go around judgeing everyone esp their sex life. Jesus said though shalt not judge. (don't hear them judging corporate conservative crooks whome wipe people life savings out.

4. They claim to be hard on crime how come they generally oppose hate crimes, lack concern on enivomental crime, corporate crime instead preferring to go after the people smokeing dope in their homes and Martha Stewart for crimes she did not commit even if she did would not be 100/100th of the ones enron,worldcom and other did.

1. Bush is hypocrite #1

Bush campaigns about the failed moral leadership of Clinton, and besmirching of the oval office, hitting on the "I didn't inhale", marital infidelities, and Monica as examples of the moral depravity of Democratic leadership.

When Arnold announces his candidacy, George says he'd make a good governor. Huh? Arnold does inhale a big fat doobie in Pumping Iron, has had an ongoing affair with a 16 year old girl, said "eating is not cheating" when caught giving head to someone on a movie set, and plays grab ass with talk show hosts.

2. inconsistancies

1. Many conservatives, but by no means all, say they are "Pro Life" when it comes to fetuses, but are also pro-death penalty. In other words, the unborn have more rights than those who are born.

2. Many people who have spouted the "pro life" line have had, or have encouraged abortions when it came to themselves or their lovers. Reagan had a girlfriend get an abortion in his Hollywood days, and there is talk that * had several of his lovers get abortions.

3. Conservatives who preach morality are often guilty of the "sins" they preach against. Look at Bennett and gambling; Bakker and adultery

4. Conservatives will jump on you if, on a discussion board, you are the least bit impolite or sarcastic, but they feel perfectly justified in ignoring statements of fact put up by liberals and ending the arguements with personal attacks unrelated to the debate. Or when they realize they can't win, they simply say shut up.

-The way they lambast the Hollywood elite saying they belong nowhere near politics, but then faun all over Hollywood wing-nut types like Gibson, AhNuld, Nugent and others.

-Claim to support the “free market” then oppose Anti-Trust Legislation, which is regulations with the sole purpose of protecting the integrity of the market.

-For being “pro life” yet being the most war mongering and pro-death penalty people this side of Iran

-For claiming the are opposed to government welfare and such because it “forces” them via taxation to support programs they don’t support, yet have no qualms with people diametrically opposed to war who are “forced” to pay for its deployment

-Their incredible backlash against PC and then they show just how “PC” they can be with the recent dissent-suppression and jingoism.

-In 1994 Republicans were voted into the House in droves largely on a policy that included TERM LIMITS. At the time, Democrats held congress. Now that Republicans hold congress, nary a word is ever muttered about it again.

Want to know what I think about Conservatives?

Economics

Conservatives believe that the Government should not help the poor. A Government that helps its people is the kind of Government we need. Conservatives say its takeing away freedoms, but it is really giveing more freedoms to those who are very poor. The poor live horrible lives with all the crime and poverty, you cannot raise a family off of minimum wage, and its not always easy to get a job. Its very easy to get yourself killed. Because the poor areas get such bad education, its extremely hard for them to get out of that position, contrary to what Conservatives say. They should not be forced to live like this, the Government should help these poor people. The filthy rich don't use nearly all their money, they can afford a Leftist Government and stay rich. How ever, Conservatives reject any idea that would help out these suffering people. Conservatives believe the poor are just a bunch of lazy bumbs. This is not true, its hard to work your way out of the rat hole. Conservatives don't want the wealthy to pay a dime to help these people. As the poor suffer in life, Conservatives yell out "Communist!" to anyone who speaks out against what we are letting these people go through :( .

Environment

The Environment is in danger. As industry rapes our Earth of its beauty. Conservatives call anybody who speaks against the destruction of the environment "dumbass environmental hippies". Conservatives don't care that millions of acres of beautiful forests are being chopped down every breath you take. How heartless can people get? They think that extra money for wealthy business is more important than the forests which are home for many animals! Humans should not be given the right to tear down our Environment and murder millions of animals and even cause extinction. We should protect what remains of our planet for our future generations. Conservatives however say otherwise. How heartless can people be, to believe that we should rip our planet and kill animals that get in our way so wealthy industries can get even richer? Its unfortunate that nearly half(if not more) of Americans don't give a rats ass about our Environment, which me and many other Liberals charish.
Forests aren't the only issue however. Conservatives(George W. Bush being more specific) don't want to research renewable and cleaner energy. Oil is limited and mineing it and useing it is slowing destroying our planet. We should use sources of energy that are more abuntant(sp?). Conservatives however don't care about better sources of energy and they continue to purchase tanking SUVs that guzzle up gas like a monster.

Social Views

Conservatives can be very heartless when it comes to these views. Many Conservatives believe that homosexuals, minorities, and sometimes even women, are inferior beings of life. That is clearly speaking out Nazism. People should be treated equally. White Male Christians should not get special and better treatment than everybody else. Homosexuals should not be prevented from getting married because they are people to and should be treated fairly. Many Conservatives however think Homosexuals are evil. Homophobia is just like Racism. I don't know if I gave this Paragraph that correct title but oh well....

Intolerance

Cosnervatives are often intolerant of other ethnics and beliefs. Conservatives spew out tons of hate towards people who have different views than they do. Conservatives say Liberals are the most undereducated people in the world, even though Liberals are clearly the more educated. Conservatives are arrogant and act like they are soooo smart, even thought they are usually just a bunch of mindless sheep. Conservatives say Liberals are immature and need to grow up. However its Conservatives who act like children. We Liberals are the more mature. Conservatives are just so stuck-up and hateful its sickens me. I assume every Conservatives is an asshole until I find out otherwise. If I do I will like them anyway. Most Conservatives would refuse to be freinds with anyone that is Liberal, Homosexual, Hippie, etc... Conservatives should learn how to debate without getting so damn personal.

I am all for progressive taxes. Those progressive taxes will fund things like universal health care and social security. Things that must be funded to protect every citizen.

The rich can afford to pay the extra taxes. I am tired of the right wing labeling people with that same view as commies. :(

The religious right are the worst. They label people of other religions and those that do not practice abstinence as "abominations" that haven't seen the light of Jesus.

12. About Deletions

I do not see why the Right can't post, as long as they are civil. I was peeved about being kicked off Freeperland, and I was very very civil, as I was trying to see how long I could last.

Does anyone know of a site where both sides do debate things calmly? All sites where I have been are cat-fight nasty.

14. Not really

Though one of the sites I go to has a couple of conservatives who seem to shout louder than us libs. The EZOp is fairly calm for a conservative, though he really needs to loosen up. One of the new guys (I know from yet another board) is an asshole freeper who likes to inflame. Those of us who are libs on the board rag really heavily on the current regime, of course, but the conservatives fairly much hold their own. It's pretty interesting--no one seems to get banned for hollering louder than others, and outside of politics, most people get along on the other forums on the board.

One thing I find interesting is that even when we pelt them with hard rock evidence, they don't flinch much.

Anyone is welcome to come over, and I would love some more libs to take on the idiot freeper and try to convince the EZOp that he's wrong. It's next to impossible, I think, but it's worth trying!!

Conservatives “believe” in State’s rights. GWB ran on a platform of state’s rights. Conservatives scream FOUL if the federal government interferes in state’s rights (such as Alabama’s current 10 commandments argument. However the first thing GWB did in the last presidential election was call the SUPREME COURT to overrule the Florida State Supremes.

I live in Cincinnati Ohio, where and I shit you not. The city let the KKK put up a cross last X-mas. and than, when people got pissed off, like they do when you let an organization that believes in lynchings put something up in public.
