Anyone know what kind of shape Etrade is in?
I have a savings account with them that is FDIC insured but there are other places I can put the money so I'm just wondering what kind of shape they are in.

2. Well, don't want to cause a run of course but etrade bank is on a list of at-risk banks
according to Table 1 (and additional tables) in Appendix A of this 'white paper' on the bailout.

5. bankrate advertising is a paid for by the banks
when I asked about a bank they had on their list last spring that months later was no longer on the list - they said the banks pay to be on the list
