Whoa.... Dow is down ANOTHER 450+ points???
I haven't sen anything in the latest threads about this...is anyone talking about it or are we just numb?

Rick Sanchez has just mentioned it, said "...as the economy has gone south, Obama's #'s have gone up..."

that sucks, I mean I am SO glad his numbers are doing so well, but I am bummed that it is happening this way.

I guess that's the only thing that will wake up the sheeple.... mess with their money, and they can't buy as much beer or pay for cable!

1. McCain should put his campaign money into the DOW ...
to help keep the main focus off the economy. Much wiser than using it to spread smear.

2. Get used to it
This is the correction that would have happened on Gore's watch had Stupid not been appointed and had he not thrown this country into near bankruptcy to throw money at the rich and prop up a hyperinflated market.

Had Gore been in office these last 8 years, the Dow would be lower than it is now, but it would be on the way up and the national debt would have been partially paid down.

Have I mentioned lately that I loathe Republicans?

3. Under a president Gore...
I like to imagine an economy where Greenspan wasn't allowed to lower the prime rate to 1% and pimp out ARMs to a gullible citizenry like some kind of economist-turned-crack-whore.

5. That too, but the unregulated hedge funds would still have
churned out bets as though they were assets and Gramm would still have had his horrible legislation passed. We'd be fighting many of the same problems. We'd just have enough in the treasury to deal with them without crippling the country for the next several generations.

Over 5% lost, again, today.
