Sorry. Didn't catch this note until Saturday morning. I couldn't find the interview on Thom's website. I'd be very interested to hear what Professor Batra had to say.

3. Well, I only posted to let people know he was coming on.

But here are a couple of highlights:

He said the US federal government has a revenue problem NOT a spending problem.

He said under current conditions - lack of jobs, low taxes on the rich and corporations, state spending cuts, bad manufacturing policies and trade agreements - if the federal deficit starts declining, then we would see another crash or economic downturn within a year.
