T-Zero
Electric sportscar. I saw the inventors on the science channel last night. I could have sworn I heard them claiming a range of 300 miles, but on their web-site it says the range is 100 miles.

Anyway, it goes like hell, and it's cheaper than a Ferrari.

1. The FAQ's there say "expected to begin deliveries in 2002"

I wonder if there is really a market for this?

2. I'd guess the market is small, but then the market for any
expensive high-performance sportscar is small. If they ever did manage to boost the range up to 300 miles, I think it would improve their market size.

They also make hybrid cars, which I would assume are more practical. But I don't see how they can compete with companies as big as Toyota and Honda.
