5. if it's flooding as badly as you say...
...you know FEMA won't get there until sweeps week.

Better call a http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/c/a/2005/09/15/MNGF3ENTE71.DTL">Canadian!

And don't expect anything better from McSame. Remember what he was doing when New Orleans went underwater?

2. Feel so bad for you folks. Wish we had some of it.
Here in Tennessee we are just holding our breaths hoping we don't get another spring freeze and severe drought. We lost so many of our trees and bushes last year. Our home is 100 years old this year and I'm sure most of the landscaping was done when the house was built. We lost yews that were 20 feet tall. All our Japanese maples and our azaleas died. I will not plant my garden until mid-May this year because everything I planted last year in March was lost in the freeze. I do feel bad for all the flooding you're receiving because I know the devastation.

6. we got nearly 4 inches of rain overnight here in northeast ok
our yard is on a slope and the water is close to 2 inches deep running across it right now. Should be good for morel huntings though.

7. OMG!
I can smell that lovely Morel right now! Next week we are hitting 70 (after snow tomorrow night ). My farm has aways been hit by strangers but now that the house is on it I will finally be able to harvest them here. Mmmmmm.

We have dodged most of the really heavy rain where I am but it certainly has been wet. We flooded badly last year so here is hoping we don't get that bad this year.

4 inches is a lot of rain. Got your raft ready?

9. one good thing is we are above the 100 years flood plain
I am going to load up and go to see if I can't find us a mess of morels right now as soon as I finish this. We found about 20 nice, albeit a little bit small but enough for a mess the other day and I must say there is no better eating. Good luck with your hunting ;-)

8. That is some crazy shit.
My dad said he could see the flooding area from the window of a jet plane. And that was a couple weeks ago.
