PLAINVIEW, Minn. - Rescuers have freed dozens of cattle trapped after heavy snow caused a freestall building to collapse in southeastern Minnesota.

Sixty-four cattle were trapped when the roof came down on the building on the Ray Mussell farm near Plainview early Tuesday.

One cow died and several were injured. No people were hurt.

The Winona Daily News reports neighbors and a Winona County rescue team freed the cattle.

Earlier in Winona a warehouse roof collapsed from heavy snow, blocking some train tracks. No one was hurt in that collapse. The tracks are now open.

1st the Metrodome and now this. Yet the anthropomorphic global climate disruption deniers persist in their lies.

We are truly doomed.

1. it's snowing in Minnesota in the winter.
Minnesota encompasses the whole of Earth.

Ergo, global warming is a myth.

2. What?
It's not that it's snowing, it's the AMOUNT of snow. We've got our entire season's worth of snowfall in just four weeks and it's not even officially winter yet.

Global warming creates weather extremes. Which is exactly what we're seeing all over the globe.

3. It's the seasonal argument. I just moved away from Minnesota, actually
But my co-workers would twit me during the winter. "Get a hold of all that global warming!" was a commonly said to me. :-)

5. Some heavy snows and a few roof collapses are not proof of anything but heavy snow.
This sort of thing happens nearly every winter.
