Please support H.R. 3037!
This is the bill, essentially to legalize Hemp, so that hopefully, we may start using it for energy purposes. Use the handy "Take Action Now" at the link below and send it on to friends:

1. Algae is superior to hemp as a fuel source.
Hemp needs to replace cotton cloth and tree based paper.

2. I think we can use all the sources...
of energy that we can get, that are renewable, to replace oil. There will not be one cure-all for the lack of oil. And, not to be rude but, how well does algae behave as a carbon sink? How many farmers will algae help to prosper again? See my point?

8. Sure is, if you have pools
If you don't have pools, but you have a lot of land, hemp might be a better economic producer of fuel & fiber.

I'm more interested in making hemp into OSB & Engineered joists.

5. getting grief from people?
can you elaborate on that? People need to be educated.. even a friend of mine said if we used hemp as fuel, 'people will be getting high from the fumes!" .. pretty amazing people think this way.

6. People have just been knocking me...
for posting about it. How it will go nowhere. A republican in Texas of all states, is the original sponser, for crying out loud. We can get this passed, but we need to get the facts to the people.

7. People are ignorant about hemp.
Thay need to be told the history of hemp, and it's importance to this country .. and how it was made illegal by the corporations which didn't want to compete with it, they Couldn't compete with it, so they had our 'leaders' outlaw it.

It's our hope for the future, on this planet! I salute you for trying to educate people about it.. I try to do the same too, and it does get frustrating, but keep it up! We'll educate people on it :-)
