Warming Now on Front Burner - FL Governor

Lakeland Ledger. (print format)

Crist is the first governor in the South and one of a handful of Republicans nationally to so publicly get behind the issue of global warming - an issue the Republican presidential administration denied existed until recently, and to which Crist's predecessor, Jeb Bush, paid little attention.
...
Going against the traditionally Republican grain has become characteristic for Crist, who returned voting rights to felons and supports stem cell research.

Nice start, but looks like we have to wait for caps.

1. I've been very impressed with Crist.

He's doing some excellent work on election fraud also.

And he is a Republican.

2. Florida Governor Crist's state has a lot to lose from Global Warming.
Glad to see a Republican Leader in touch with reality. Maybe there is HOPE!

3. Nice map. Honestly, I think FL can handle the hurricanes.
Even though they get the attention. Build stronger homes, swollow the insurance rates.

It's the 1M sea rise (and that's the conservative estimate), and drought that is the worry.
