Edited on Thu Jun-03-04 08:10 AM by the Kelly Gang
anyone else accused of just a fraction of the things claimed about Chalabi would have been clapped in irons by now..whats the deal with this guy..why is the Bush administration looking after this creep and not chasing the people that exposed the CIA agent. What is their definition of a 'traitor" ?

WEB EXCLUSIVE
By Michael Isikoff and Mark Hosenball
Newsweek
"Updated: 6:42 p.m. ET June 02, 2004June 2 - The Iraqi exile group headed by Ahmad Chalabi—formerly a key ally of the Bush administration—is suspected of leaking confidential information about U.S. war plans for Iraq to the government of Iran before last year’s invasion to oust Saddam Hussein, government sources told NEWSWEEK.

The allegation that Chalabi may have supplied the Iranians information about U.S. military plans comes on the heels of recent disclosures that Chalabi or others in his organization may have compromised more recent U.S. intelligence "

1. I'm surprised we haven't just lobbed a missile at his house...
like we do with all our other enemies in Iraq.

2. It's for the same reason we don't see Saddam Hussein
These people know things they don't want us to know. A public trial would be a disaster for the Bush Regime.

3. Chalabi isn't an American citizen. I don't think it's illegal for him..
to be a spy so long as he isn't an American citizen. Am I right? Am I wrong? Discuss.
