Students corner chancellor - SA
Pretoria - The Tshwane University of Technology's vice-chancellor was escorted from the Soshanguve campus by police on Friday afternoon after clashes between police and students.

Vice-chancellor Reggie Ngcobo was confined to the administration building by protesting students for about 30 minutes until freed by police, who used stun grenades.

"About 500 students prevented him from leaving the building for about half-an-hour from 15:00," said police spokesperson Inspector Piletji Sebola.
