Operation Black Dog : Did US Use Chem and Bio Weapons in Gulf War I?
I cannot vouch for the site, although it looks interesting. The article is very specific in its claims:

The Gulf War Story No One Would Publish

--snip

The meeting followed a story I had written on Gulf War Illness, when I had cautiously been told about a top secret US mission known as "Black Cat." This, I was told, involved a "black" US B52 bomber launching from Offut AFB in Nebraksa, and flying a round-trip to the Persian Gulf.

The hulking bomber carried one bomb packed with VX nerve agent, the most potent chemical weapon in the US CW armoury. The bomb was dropped on elements of the Republican Guard in Southern Iraq, I was informed. Heavy casualties apparently resulted. The operation, directed by the Central Intelligence Agency, was a counter-strike, following an Iraqi Scud that fell on Israel. The missile had contained Sarin and drove the Israeli government almost apoplectic with rage. Fuming, the Israeli's had readied to detonate a nuclear warhead high above Baghdad. Only the swift intervention of President George Bush forestalled what would have been a cataclysmic move destined to unravel the carefully wrought Arab backed Coalition lined-up against Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.

1. I wouldn't completely disreguard the story...
...you never really know what stupidity we can get up to with "Black Ops", but w/o some sort of corrabotating information, or an independant source it isn't completely reliable. Just my opinion.

2. I don't think this sounds too plausible--
1. If SH had used sarin gas (or even tried to use it) in Gulf War I, the Bushites then and now couldn't have resisted telling the world about it as justification to further demonize the man that Reagan built.

2. Gas doesn't seem to me to be all that effective a weapon. We've already got and already use these baseball sized "anti personnel" bomblets that can kill everything in a football field sized area. I don't see how something that can waft out of control and possibly endanger our own troops would be so much better than that.

3. If gas were used against SH, why didn't he use that as a propaganda tool? He could have taken photos and presented it to the world.

the idea that the military would launch a B52 strike on CIA orders! ROTFLMAO!!!! Someone (the author) has no idea how the military and intell community work!

"The article is very specific in its claims:" Sorry, but so are creationists and holocaust deniers. Being specific doesn't mean they are correct. Hell, shrub got REAL specific in his SOTU address and it was a pack of lies...

5. I hate to say it
But Saddam hussein was around long before Reagan was President. He got far more from the USSR (most of his arsenal), France and the Saudis than he did from the US.
