Henry Lee reveals possible keys to election-eve attack
By Ko Shu-ling
STAFF REPORTER
Sunday, Aug 29, 2004,Page 1

The manufacturing process of the bullet and discovery of the pistol used in the election-eve attack on President Chen Shui-bian (???) and Vice President Annette Lu (???) may be the keys to unraveling the mystery surrounding the assassination attempt, forensic expert Henry Lee (???) said in New York yesterday.

"The police can narrow down the scope of their investigation by determining how the bullet was manufactured, because it may have been made with special tools," he told reporters late last night after completing his comprehensive report on the assassination attempt.

He did not elaborate further on the report after presenting it to Andrew Hsia (???), representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York.
