Australia to get Hambali access

AUSTRALIA is likely to be given access to captured terrorist mastermind Hambali, a top United States official said today.

US Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage said he did not know if the interrogation of Hambali, who was reported to have been arrested in Thailand some days ago, had reached the stage of involving Australians.

"But I can't imagine Australian officials would not be given access and full sharing of information on anything we learn from Hambali," he told ABC radio.

But that's okay. I think The Australian is a pile of crud anyway. Isn't it interesting how willing the US is to give Australia full access to Hambali and how willing Australia is to get access to him, but when it comes to David Hicks and the other Australian being held at Guatanamo Bay, it doesn't work that way. Boy, and they aren't even terrorists, no matter how much our balless and souless government tries to twist the meaning of the word terrorist to try to include them...
