So Dean is just doing what he has to to get elected?
Al Gore had to support gun rights when running in Tennessee. He too felt a need to pander to the small fringe groups that are "gun control advocates". It really helped him with his home state, West Virginia and Arkansas.
I believe in the right to keep and bear arms. I can't vote for a canidate that is for restricting my rights. I will stay home.
11. Any democratic canidate has to take the gun issue seriously
Al Gore didn't and he lost the election. It is odd that the free state of Vermont has very few gun homocides while the State of Mass has "tough gun restrictions" and a higher per capita gun homocide rate isn't it? Go figure.
